GLOBAL PROJECTS

Sandy and Clay Soil Bio-Enhancement
Location: Barrie, South Ontario, Canada
In the agricultural heartland of South Ontario, Terrev led a transformative project aimed at revitalizing nutrient-poor sandy and clay-based soils. This initiative in Barrie harnessed Terrev’s proprietary biotechnology to convert degraded local soils into high-value organic fertilizer—fully compliant with ecological standards and free of synthetic inputs.
Through a streamlined, in-situ process, we produced over 15,000 tons of enriched organic fertilizer directly from indigenous soil types. The project demonstrated Terrev’s unique ability to enhance both sandy and clay-heavy soils, improving their water retention, microbial diversity, and nutrient availability for future planting cycles.
By using only organic inputs and leveraging our advanced microbial activation methods, this project not only reduced dependence on imported fertilizers but also contributed to carbon sequestration and soil regeneration—directly aligning with Canada’s sustainability goals.

Reverse Bio-Desertification of Sandy Soil
Location: Tuzgolu Region, Turkey
In the semi-arid Tuzgolu region of central Turkey, Terrev implemented a landmark project to combat land degradation and advance reverse bio-desertification. Targeting expansive zones of dry, sandy soil with minimal organic matter, this initiative focused on restoring soil fertility, stabilizing land structure, and reintroducing biological productivity.
Using Terrev’s proprietary biotechnology, we successfully processed and transformed native sandy soil into 58,000 tons of premium organic fertilizer—entirely on site and without the need for imported raw materials. This project rejuvenated over 1,000 hectares of barren land, enabling the reintroduction of vegetation and improving the region’s agroecological resilience.
The Tuzgolu project stands as a compelling example of how Terrev’s innovation reverse the effects of desertification while supporting carbon capture, improving soil-water retention, and restoring ecosystems that once seemed beyond recovery.

Organic Fertilizer Production from Coal Mine Waste
Location: Mpumalanga, South Africa
In one of South Africa’s most mining-intensive provinces, Mpumalanga, Terrev delivered a pioneering solution that converted coal mine waste into high-quality organic fertilizer. This project addressed two critical challenges simultaneously: post-mining land rehabilitation and sustainable fertilizer production.
Leveraging Terrev’s cutting-edge bio-conversion technology, we treated waste materials from decommissioned coal mines and transformed them into 5,000 tons of nutrient-rich, organic fertilizer. This process was 100% chemical-free, fully organic, and designed to neutralize residual toxicity often associated with mining tailings.
The Mpumalanga project demonstrated the circular potential of industrial by-products, proving that even heavily degraded materials can be upcycled into regenerative agricultural inputs. This initiative not only supported land restoration and job creation in the region, but also established a replicable model for other mining-affected areas across the globe.

Soil Bio-Enrichment for Agricultural Development
Location: Ege-Bayındır Region, Turkey
In the fertile yet soil-fatigued lands of Turkey’s Ege-Bayındır region, Terrev executed a strategic soil bio-enrichment project to support regional agricultural revitalization. Working in collaboration with local growers and agricultural authorities, this initiative aimed to rebuild soil structure, increase organic matter, and restore productivity across thousands of hectares.
By applying Terrev’s proprietary organic biotechnology, we produced 44,000 tons of customized organic fertilizer on site, adapted to the region’s unique soil conditions and crop profiles. This process not only improved soil fertility and root development but also strengthened resilience against drought and nutrient leaching—two critical challenges facing Mediterranean farming.
The Bayındır project reflects Terrev’s long-term commitment to empowering farmers with nature-based solutions, creating a sustainable foundation for increased yields, soil health, and food system stability in the region.

Organic Fertilizer Production from Clay and Topsoil
Location: Muskoka, South Ontario, Canada
In Gravenhurst, nestled within Ontario’s forested lake region, Terrev carried out a focused project to transform dense clay and surface topsoil into 12,000 tons of nutrient-rich organic fertilizer. This initiative exemplified Terrev’s ability to turn challenging soil types into regenerative agricultural inputs through a 100% organic and on-site process.
The project leveraged Terrev’s proprietary microbial activation technology to break down compacted clay, enhance soil porosity, and restore essential organic compounds. By revitalizing local soils without any synthetic additives or imported biomass, the initiative supported regional farming efforts while preserving the surrounding ecosystem.
Gravenhurst’s success story highlights how Terrev’s solutions enable localized fertilizer production, reduce environmental impact, and deliver scalable, soil-first strategies for sustainable land use in North America.

Acidic Soil Post-Mining Bioremediation
Location: Timmins Tailing Site, North Ontario, Canada
At the Timmins tailing site in Northern Ontario, Terrev led a vital post-mining bioremediation project focused on reclaiming acidic and metal-contaminated soils left behind by decades of mining activity. This initiative was designed to transform toxic, barren land into a safe, fertile foundation for ecological recovery.
Using Terrev’s advanced bio-remediation techniques and indigenous microbial formulations, we neutralized soil acidity and produced 8,000 tons of organic fertilizer, fully derived from on-site materials. The process effectively detoxified the tailings, restored soil pH, and reintroduced biological activity—without the use of chemical treatments or synthetic additives.
The Timmins project is a flagship example of Terrev’s impact in environmental restoration, showcasing our capacity to rehabilitate post-industrial landscapes, prevent further ecological degradation, and support biodiversity regeneration in severely affected zones.
